Hospitality New Zealand - Awards for Excellence
Hospitality New Zealand is a voluntary trade organisation of like-minded businesses and operators in the hospitality sector.
Held annually in September the Awards for Excellence programme is an initiative recognising those Hospitality New Zealand members who are performing with excellence over a range of categories.
APRA support these nationwide Awards by way of the Best Music Entertainment Venue Award, for establishments where delivering quality music is the focus.

Auckland’s Outstanding Hospitality Staff officially recognised at the Hospitality party of the year - the Lewisham Foundation Awards. The Awards are named in honour of colourful hospitality entrepreneur Richard Lewisham who helped establish the modern day eating and drinking scene in the City of Sails. Held annually in May, at a night of glamour and glitz the current ‘cream of the crop’ in Auckland’s hospitality industry will be honoured for their outstanding commitment to this exciting and vibrant business.
APRA are proud to support these Awards each year by sponsoring the Best New Auckland Venue.

The Rotorua Hospitality Awards
The Rotorua Hospitality Awards is the region's premier hospitality awards.
The awards, which are held in June each year, celebrate and recognise everything and everyone that is hospitality; from the front of house team to the kitchen crew; from baristas to bar stars; from restaurants, bars to top industry personalities.
The Rotorua Hospitality Awards salute hospitality excellence and all the great things that this industry offers in Rotorua and are presented by The Restaurant Association of NZ, Rotorua Branch.
APRA co-sponsors the Rotorua Hospitality Awards by way of the 'APRA-PPNZ Outstanding Restaurant' award. The winner of the 2012 APRA-PPNZ Outstanding Restaurant was The Indian Star, Rotorua.
The New Zealand Fitness Awards - the Facility Sight and Sound Award
The Fitness Industry Awards are an annual event, which started in 2005, recognising excellence in the exercise and fitness industry. The awards are run by Fitness New Zealand, the industry association.
The awards have a number of categories for both individuals and facilities that operate in the fitness/ exercise industry, as well as special awards for those outside the industry showing a commitment to health and wellness through exercise. Since 2010 APRA has sponsored the Facility Sight and Sound Award.

Hackman Theatre Awards
The Hackman Theatre Awards are a celebration of excellence for the year in theatre. The evening looks back on the past year, highlighting specific moments of magic from over 100 plays that were produced over that time.
